What does auto-renew mean?

Auto-renew allows you to upload credit to your account, which will then be used to automatically renew your domain names when they come up for expiry.

Note that you can enable auto-renew on a per-domain basis, but the renewal will only take place if you have sufficient credit on your account to cover the cost of the minimum renewal period (1 year for most TLDs, 2 years for .uk domains)
